It's been a long week. These are some of the surprises I've gotten in my mailbox. I must say I was rather shocked to see the full sized bottle of shampoo & conditioner. (Actually 30% bonus size!) I love getting freebies in the mail. It just brightens my day.

Not much this week. Some makeup, cheez-it & $1/1 Honest Tea coupons. You better believe I'll be using my Honest Tea coupons for free tea at CVS this week. Yippie!

Not much in the way of samples. Two BOGO coupons. I'm a little disappointed with the BOGO as I was under the impression they would be 'free' coupons. Hope there's a good sale to go with these. At least I'll have my Coffee Mate. ^_^

Too tired. It's been a long and busy weekend at CVS. I wonder why everyone procrastinates for Christmas and Valentines Day? I think it's strange.

There are a few things that were on sale this week at CVS that I really needed to get. Early this month we ran out of Mayo & ended up paying full price because no one had it on sale! On my limited food budget that hurt. So this week I was excited! Sale prices for peanut butter & mayo are about the same at all the stores right now. The CVS advantage? Extra Bucks! ^_^

~Kashi! This was a sample from Vocal point & it came with a high value coupon. I'm hoping to score some cereal for cheap with this.

~Purina, more goodies for Mutti's girls.

~Burt's Bee's, I had forgot about this. I love all natural products.

~Coffee, I'll take these to the office as a special treat. That or buy myself a french press so I can have some at home. That sounds like a good idea. ^_^

~Excedrin Coupons! W00t! Two free and one $3.50/1 this will be great! I think CVS or Rite Aid will have some kind of deal on these really soon to make this such a sweet deal. ^_^

~Purina, dog food samples are always welcomed at my parents house. (Epically since Noel would eat us out of house and home if we let her.)




Pictured above are some clothes from a friend of a friend. I'm in desperate need of pants at the moment and these could not have come at a better time. I haven't tried everything on as of yet, but I believe that all of the clothing should fit. Some pieces aren't my favorite color, but who am I to judge? They were free and I'm thankful I'm able to get clothing in such great shape.



I was also was in need of shoes. Thanks to Common Sense With Money, one of the blogs I follow I was alerted to a great deal on Sketchers shape-ups, 2 for $60! (Just one would have been $40, 25% off wyb 2.) I've been saving up my amazon e-cards from Swag Bucks just for something like this. In the end I paid about $35.00 total! That's an amazing deal for Sketchers. I'll be set on shoes until next year.

~ Starbucks, the only item I actually had last week.

~ Coke, YEA! I love coke reward points. I'm buying all this coke anyway so why not get rewarded for my loyalty? Two coupons for a free 20oz drink. I'll save these for work.

~ Larry's Seasoning, looks good. Now I just need some chicken.

~ Sheetz. Not exactly sure how we got that one. It's addressed to Sweetheart's brother who he lived with before we moved in together. The brother doesn't drive and the nearest one to him is over an hour walk. And he doesn't drink coffee. I can have it! Sweet!

I missed out on this last week. To much to do. *sighs* If only my schedule could be the same every week. Being in retail means that is not likely. At least it means be open on holidays and get time & a half. ^_^ YEAH!

Thoughts:

~The Eagle's shirt is from Rite Aid. They are running specials with some teams linked to specific areas where you buy $x between y and z you get a shirt. You can't pick the team, but my Dad LOVES the Eagle's. I plan on giving it to him as a X-mas gift. I have something else in mind for him, but this will be nice for him as well.

~Three samples from Target! Wisk, Moisture Rescue & a trash bag! Hoping to see many more in the future. Fingers crossed for Target coupons so I can combine with manufacture coupons.

~Barilla PLUS game bowl & coupon for free pasta. Also came with BOGO coupons. I'm hoping to spy a good sale within the next month. If not I'll just use the free coupon. I'm stocked up on pasta otherwise for the moment.

~Dunkin Dounuts, one last birthday freebie. No need to buy, just stop in for a free drink. I like the fact I've got longer to use it. One problem with a lot of Birthday coupons is you only have a week. As busy as I am there's not enough time. I think there is one of these on the way to my new store. Sweet!

Thoughts:

~ My P&G quarterly samples/coupons came in on Saturday. YEAH! More tampons & some pads. Not all bad though. P&G has great coupons and is the company I most often get free or close to free products on all the time between sales & coupons.

~ Night Food, my mother told me these are fantastic! I'm going to try one on a day I don't have to get up and then I think I will let her have the other one. She has trouble sleeping sometimes.

~ Florida's Natural wasn't actually a sample, but did have a $1 coupon. I already used it. ^_^ This is one of two brands that I buy. I LOVE this orange juice.

~ Tide, actually this one is from Target. My first Target mail freebie! I hope there will be lots more to come.

~ Radio Survey, anyone remember when I got a mailer with $3 cash about TV? Well I gave it to my Sweetheart and he filled it on out. (With an additional $5 after.) He was invited to fill out a radio survey and could enlist other household members. Another $2 each and a bonus after completing the survey. Awesome!

Black Card - It's a card for a free drink from Star Bucks for my up coming Birthday! I'm so happy to have this freebie. Pumpkin Spice Latte here I come!

Lip Gloss - I don't remember where this one came from. I might not be to big on makeup in general, but I love lip gloss.

Thoughts:

~Pet Food: I LOVE coupons for free full sized products! The pet food coupon isn't really for me, but my mom. The Girls love me! ^_^

~There was a brief rumor that the Pringles sample on Facebook was a hoax, but it's not! I really enjoy Pringles, but I try to avoid them usually as I can eat an entire can in one sitting. (They are expensive to boot.)

~Chilli's: The GC is $5. I 'bought' it with My Coke Rewards. As I already buy coke it's free to me. To bad it's limit one per person.

~Playtex: I swear I can hardly go a month without getting a sample or two for tampons.


My only compliant about the lot is the Alive. I really love samples in the mail, but one pill? I thought a standard does was two pills? So I'm suppose to like your product on half a dose? Strikes me as a bit odd, but oh well. To the emergency supply it goes.

I've got some good treats this week. I am happy to have gotten the socks. I want to save them for when I start going back to the gym. (When I start working at another store that is so much closer! It will cut my commute in half!) I really need to lose some weight. I'm over 200lbs at only 5"4'! I know it's bad. I was much better when I was on night shift and walking 15 miles a week.

I'm going to put the snack samples in my lunch box for work. I love things like this! Not sure what I'll so with the Cottenelle wipes. I plan on using it as a 'filler' item at Rite Aid. Maybe CVS? I rarely get those $x off $y coupons. I'll give the Biotrue to my sister. It will be good for traveling. (Not sure if she's going anywhere soon or not?) Cold-Eezze for the medicine cabinet!

It's a great sample week!

I had completely forgotten about this shirt! Saladworks is doing a promotion to wear the shirt & get a salad. Free food? I'm so there! Now I just need to remember to actually wear it Friday Oct 15th or Saturday Oct 16th. I'm so looking forward to that salad! The next question is would I enjoy the free instant coffee with the salad?

It's slow on the freebies this week. I was pleasantly surprised by the coupons for free M&M. Each one came in it's own envelope. M&M did a promotion in August some time where you entered online for the chance to 'win' the coupons and you could enter once per day. I only remembered twice. Looks like I'm lucky. ^_^
